A free story, for the ones who were here first

You were here first.

Before there was a Free Story link in the menu, before any of this was announced anywhere, you signed up for Wyrd Tales on faith. So the first story is yours without any of the new machinery: Demondread, my dark fantasy short story, is waiting for you right here:

Bhishoor al-Yasin dies in battle against demons and wakes in an endless cathedral, where the Light itself asks him a question. It runs about ten minutes, and it ends on a cliff I will not spoil here.

Thank you for being here at the start. More is coming, and you will always get it first.
